Experience within the hospitality sector is required within a similar role; applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure.
We are a leading restaurant established for 20 years who take pride in using fresh ingredients and changing menus daily.
The ability to work within a dynamic customer service focused environment is essential.
You will be working within a small team of 4 chefs reporting to the head chef and 2nd chef.
The position involves:
Preparation of A La Carte food using only fresh ingredients
A La Carte – evening service and Sunday Lunch service
Working on stock and order with lead chef
Working on both the starter section and main course section should the head chef require it
Ability to cover head chef during holiday periods is essential.
Hours will vary but primarily involves 2 full days off with 5 days on generally split shifts 10am-2pm & 4.30pm-10pm (Approx 40-45hrs)
Salary is £20K per annum with statutory holiday entitlement.
There is also a very generous tips package with the job.
