Welcome to a New Year of simply fabulous food. - 07/01/18

For over 21 years we have built our reputation by serving local people with seasonal innovative menus that change every day. We use only the finest ingredients from local and specialist suppliers and our ethos is bespoke, which means our all our dishes are cooked to order in small batches.

Our food is modern French but with most of our seasonal produce supplied locally we pay homage to Britain and Lancashire. Whilst steeped in the French tradition of best ingredients, wines and staff we embrace informality in our kitchen and dining room.

Since opening in 1996 we have given away 170,000 bottles of free wine with our Simply Squiffy offer and have served 60,000 signature white chocolate cheesecakes. We are very popular with seafood lovers; we’ve prepared and served over 12000 lobsters and 120,000 oysters in last 21 years.

This year we are looking forward to creating new and exciting dishes and welcoming both old and new customers alike.

Authentic French Cuisine at a Reasonable Price

“I’ve eaten at QSF on 10+ occasions and I’ve had a good experience each and every time.
The menu is very good and stays true to the ‘French’ heritage of the restaurant. Frogs legs, venison and l’ escargots have all been sampled and were excellent.
The service here is warm and friendly yet very professional and most of all I think QSF exhibits excellent value for money.
I’ve been living in Lancaster for 3+ years, I love to eat out and QSF is easily the best restaurant I’ve discovered.”
